With the return of recreational cricket, Sunday fixtures began on July 19 with the annual match against the Stage XI. Taplow batted first scoring 208-5 (Callum Stay 73). The Stage replied with 154-6 (A. Khan 5-18) to claim a draw. There are a number of videos from the Stage innings on the Stage website here.
We eventually played 11 games, with 2 wins and 2 draws and 7 losses. Although results were not as good as previous seasons, the matches were played in good spirit with the usual mix, including some older players and some colts and a few new faces to the club. Our thanks to all who played and we hope to see you again next year.
