After the fine weather of recent weeks, the cold winds blowing across the pitch were something of a shock to the system and extra layers were needed.
Frogs were the visitors, new opponents for the club.
Batting first, Frogs made 201-5 declared. In reply, Taplow could only manage 61 all out.
As the game finished, and players enjoyed a post match, end of season, drink and chat, the sun came out casting the ground in glorious light.
So ends one of the strangest seasons in the long history of the club. We have played as many games as we were able whilst respecting the Covid rules and restrictions. It has been a relief to be able to play some cricket and enjoy the social side of the game.
Our thanks to everyone who made it possible to get the games on, the players, the umpires, the scorers and all those behind the scenes.
