Taplow Cricket Club, a cornerstone of our local community since 1850, is currently hosting its annual clean-up drive ahead of the new cricket season.
This initiative, which began on the weekend of the 6th and 7th of April, and continues on the 13th and 14th April, is a testament to the spirit of volunteerism that keeps our club thriving. Our dedicated members, like Geoff (below), have been working tirelessly to ensure our grounds are in top shape for the upcoming season.
This weekend, the 13th and 14th, is the last chance to join this communal effort. We welcome all who wish to lend a hand, whether it’s mowing the lawn, washing equipment, or any of the many tasks that keep our club running smoothly.

The wooden sight screen has been washed and is now gleaming in the spring sun.

A new seating area is being created around one of our lime trees on the patio area in front of the clubhouse.

The paths need weeding and the car park area cleared.

The importance of volunteers cannot be overstated. Their dedication and hard work are what allow us to maintain our clubhouse and beautiful Ten Acres ground and continue to provide a place for cricket lovers of all ages to play and enjoy the game.
We look forward to seeing you at the club this weekend. Together, we can ensure that Taplow Cricket Club remains a vibrant part of our community for years to come.
