We have been waiting to present Andy with a plaque honouring his playing career at Taplow. We we ready – but then Covid got in the way. We were finally able to do this in July when Andy and his father Gerry were both at the club on a colts’ training evening.

The plaque shows Andy’s careers details playing at Taplow between 1987 and 2020, with almost 18,000 runs, 96 wickets, 385 catches and 147 stumpings.
The plaque will be hung on the wall in the clubhouse bar, alongside Gerry’s and many other greats from the past at Taplow. There is still much banter between father and son as to who has the best record!
Both Gerry and Andy are honorary life members of Taplow Cricket Club.
