It was with great sadness that we heard the news of the death of Chris Goodrham on 22 November.
A minutes silence was observed at the club Annual General Meeting. Club Chairman Andy Bond described Chris as a legend of Taplow Cricket Club, who will be sorely missed.
Chris is the third highest runs scorer in the history of the club, having amassed a total of 15,621 runs, with much of his career being played in the era of uncovered wickets.
The report below is from the Maidenhead Advertiser dated 27 June 1975.
