On 19 August, Taplow Cricket Club was pleased to host a fund-raising event, organised by players Simon Goodrham and Rob Court to raise funds in support of Simon’s nephew Kaiden, who at 9 years old has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Two teams, led by Simon and Rob, played some entertaining cricket whilst spectators enjoyed a drink from the bar and food from the BBQ.
Afterwards Kaiden announced the winners in a massive raffle, with some amazing prizes that had been generously donated to the cause.
It was good to see some old club friends and welcome many new visitors to Taplow Cricket Club.
